Commercial Account Executive, Sligo (Onsite)General Insurance | SME & Commercial Lines | Up to €40,000 DOE
An established and highly regarded insurance brokerage based in
Sligo Town is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join
their busy, close-knit team. This is a permanent, full-time position
offering an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of
SME and commercial clients.
The Commercial Account Executive Role
You will manage all aspects of general commercial insurance,
handling new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments while
delivering exceptional service and advice. This is a client-facing
role requiring excellent communication skills and a proactive,
solution-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and quotations across a range of commercial insurance products
- Manage policy renewals, amendments, and client follow-up
- Liaise with insurers and underwriters to negotiate terms and secure cover
- Ensure documentation is compliant and up to date
- Maintain accurate client records using a case management system
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
About You
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a commercial insurance role
- APA Commercial qualification required (CIP preferred)
- Experience with SME & Commercial policies
- Familiar with Applied/Relay and insurer online platforms
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment
